Reed has been in the construction industry since 1979. First as a very successful sub contractor (HVAC plumbing and electrical) and now as a licensed General Contractor in both North Carolina and South Carolina.

Active in the community, Reed is a long term member of Tryon Hounds and Board Member on both the Foothills Equestrian Nature Center (FENCE) and Lake Lanier Civic Association.

Roy has built many of the finest custom homes and equestrian barns in the area over the last 20 years.  He has been a licensed contractor in both North Carolina & South Carolina for over 30 years.  He’s a member of the Tryon Hounds and has lived in Tryon for the last 15 years.

Working in the WNC construction industry since 1987, Debra worked for one of the areas largest HVAC-P-E contractors for over 20 years and has been with Tryon Builders since the company began. 

She is a transplant to Tryon from Henderson County NC and is excited to be part of such a thriving & friendly community and proud to be part of the Tryon Builders team.

Petra was born and raised in Austria. Professionally trained in Austrian Office-Business Schools, she arrived in the USA in 1994 and worked for many years in office management before moving to Tryon in 2019.

Petra’s passions are her two Standard Poodles and practicing obedience, agility, and other dog related sports. 

Phil Dressendofer has spent most of his life in residential construction, starting in the carpentry trades.  He was a framing contractor in his home state of Michigan and has been a licensed contractor in four different states beginning in 1978.  He had the privilege of working with Don Scholz in Scottsdale, Arizona and it was there that he managed construction in the luxury custom home market for Scholz Design Builders as their V.P. in charge of construction. 

Jaime is a 3^rd generation custom home builder and lifetime resident of the Upstate South Carolina area. He has been a licensed residential builder since 2005, though he has been in construction over 30 years in the family business (which means he had to work twice as hard as anyone else on the crew!) Jaime enjoys working with clients, designers and architects.

When he isn’t working, he enjoys researching the latest advancements and materials in the construction industry. Jaime, his wife Lisa, and two children are active in many community activities.

Shanna Mauldin has been doing high end remodel work and new construction for over 20 years in the Lowcountry of SC, specifically Bluffton, Hilton Head, and Savannah, GA.  Red Fox Unlimited offered studio design time and project management on the coast concentrating on natural and handmade materials.  She came up to this area to foxhunt over a decade ago and fell in love with all the area had to offer.  A lifelong equestrian enthusiast, this was the area she longed to call home – a horse community.

Now a full time resident and a staff member of Tryon Hounds, she has found her niche helping Tryon Builders design and build beautiful barns, as well as the occasional kitchen and bath remodel.  With an eye for design and functionality, this horsewoman will guide you through every step of your project from concept to completion.

Caleb grew up and lived in Bradenton, Florida until he moved to Boiling Springs in January of 2024.   

Caleb graduated from Purdue University in 2021 with a degree in Construction Management Technology and moved back to Florida where he worked as a Project Manager for 2-1/2 years with a large-scale commercial framing and drywall contractor. He decided after that to move to the Carolinas to live closer to his family who have lived in Columbus since 2021. 

Caleb loves living in the Carolinas where he has access to hiking, kayaking, and all the incredible golf courses. He grew up watching his Mother ride Dressage and compete all around Florida. He was recently married to his wife Hannah and purchased a home in Spartanburg where they live with their 2 rescue dogs.

Born and raised in Michigan, while in college, Ericka studied abroad in Paris and traveled throughout Europe.  After graduation, she embarked on a career in Interior Design starting in Chicago and eventually at one of the top design firms in Manhattan. Ericka worked on projects all over the country and her former client list reads like a who’s who of Forbes 500, mixed with the guest list of a Hollywood Gala.

 In 2016, Ericka moved to Greenville, SC with her husband to raise her two beautiful daughters.  Her hobbies include Art, Music, Dance, and Travel.  She joined the Tryon Builders team in early 2024. 

As your Job Coordinator she will guide you through the sequence of selections you need to build your dream home. Her years in high-level design instilled a methodical, detail-oriented approach to the selection process. Ericka has built countless relationships with trusted subs and vendors that will prove invaluable in your building journey. 

Courtney grew up in Tryon on a Hunting Country Road farm.  She fox hunted from a young age with the Tryon Hounds, competed in many horseshows at FENCE and Harmon Field.  Along with her sister (Sarah McNutt) and father (Reed McNutt), the trio, made a very competitive Hunter Pace team.

Courtney graduated from Furman University with a Business Management degree, and was recruited by Arthur Anderson LLP in Atlanta, GA.  A few years later she decided corporate America and the big city where not her cup of tea.

Courtney went on to join  McNutt Service Group, one of Western NC’s largest HVAC-P-E companies, successfully selling residential new construction sub-contracting services to General Contractors.  Courtney is also a licensed Realtor in SC.

Carole Walker is a native to North Carolina, providing a warm, friendly welcome to all of Tryon Builders’ personnel and clients. 

After retiring from her career in corporate administration, she has chosen to assist Tryon Builders part time in accounting and administrative tasks.  She enjoys spending time with her family and quilting.
